What does the world think of me?

What does the world think of me?

By  Sullee J

-
Ima do what I do without the care of your view
Cuz I'm me
I'm me without he or she, cuz only I create me
I blame me, only I can hate me, I love me, n only I can call myself ugly
I don't need the people to tell me how to feel or when to feel it
I’ll cry, and I’ll laugh, whenever those emotions are needed
I wear what I want; I make friends when I choose to
I'm there when I need to be, I don't care what you tell me to choose dude
We’re on two different levels, I'm high you’re low
I'm high because I chose to succeed, and you still too real to grow
What does the world think of me?
I don't know, leave my mind alone
I wanna spend time at home, far away, so every rhyme
N next line I combine, comes out without a crying tone
What the world thinks of me?
I don't care, I swear
I use to, then I learned to dare
Learned to risk, I learned to be aware
I learned to put my index down
Cuz peace was never there
(Hah) yea, you know I don't care
What the world thinks of me?
It hates me; it can't wait to take me
I rebel on purpose, so I can piss it off, guess I'm crazy
Or just an outcast, they say if you don't conform
To societies norms,
You’ll be out, fast!
But I chose to be me, I don't wanna be you
Or look like them, I just wanna be true
At least to myself, I don't care what they think
I shouldn't, when I did, every week I was in hell
Blank stares at the shrink
Never cared about status, or too much paper
But I guess I'm above average, got too much haters
So what the world thinks of me?
I could care less
I DO WHAT I DO FOR MYSELF, NO NEED
TO REPEAT THEIR STEPS
I follow my heart so I can lead the rest
Pump that beat up, til its beat, beats me to death
No I don't preach or speak just to be the ref
I teach, first to understand, second so we can each make peace
And cease the mess
I stare at your hearts; I don't care for your dark
We each got mistakes, and it shouldn't be fair if we sit here
N compare how sharp
But, as long as we learn though, we should learn to move on
The past becomes our surface, and the future lets us know who's gone
So keep your friends close, but your enemies closer
Cuz they tell u what’s up, when your friends act like they don't know ya
See what I mean, when I say I don't care when the world stares
Everybody out here tryina cop a piece or share, until they can get over there
But the green grass was never greener; the other side was really impaired
Blindness deep in your mind tryina find repair
Never did u want it, u were just caught in the air
So, don't let the world choose your destiny,
Cuz they'll hold you back, all alone, as long as
They can't find their own remedy
So, in order to snatch the throne, you must
Craft your own energy
With that being said,
What the world thinks of you?
Tell that thought to go rest in peace!
Peace!

The Motive of Money

The Motive of Money
By Sullee J

See, Money is the ruler
The guap, The user,
The revealer of true nature
The greed of a loser
The cancer which diffuses the minds
The confuser,
The illusion, The abuser
The fantasy made to make believe and
pollute us

See, money is great, but money is awful
Money is used for good, but also the unlawful
I thought my heart was enough,
but I guess money is more than what's thoughtful
Money makes the world go round
Money makes my girl profound
Money made me frown, but put a smile
On the faces of everyone else around
It's money, that made these friend's come back around

See, money is treason, the treacherous
Devil intrigued reason,
For those who worship the dollar!
Never even sought meaning
Or gave thought to believing
And so they became lost in there own grieving

Tortured souls, caught in the deceiving
Enemies of self, and God to you, looks so demeaning
Those who betray there own blood
for two cents and a pot to pee in
I heard money talks odd
But money never walked even
But if, money was class
We would all attend the teaching
Some folks die for the bill
I swear, you won't believe it
Brainwashed the minds and
Infiltrate with adhesives
People do anything for that green
Even knock they own fetus

Wealth-less, see it makes you helpless
But too much wealth I heard, made u selfless
What have you conquered with paper
Besides the arrogance and demise of your own vapors
Oh your hard? Your so G?
You got dough? You sold keys?
Oh you played that woman?
Ain't that the mother of your seed
Oh you robbed that dude?
Wasn't he your brother before you broke free

Check my dude, Check my blood
Check G, I cant respect your grudge
Your greed fills and infects with lust
Builds to perfect
The imperfection of your spell my cuz
Listen, Im not trying to degrade you or insult,
I know we need money,
But the love for it has made you impulse
The love for money has made you hate many,
Take plenty and act funny,
Real fake dunny
The love devoured your minds,
And made you straight dummies
The richest are snitches, beyond cowards
They contemplate cruddy

Oh you mad now, because I talk at your treble
Dumbed down a few words
And made you understand your own level
Don't apologize to me, I never conquered your mind G
I gave you the truth, this is your reality
See, money made you weak, money made you leave
Your own family for a little less bliss, then relief
Believe me or not, but if your feeling my words
You once sold your soul, and now
You regret your appearance because its clearer, it hurts (I know)

See, it's your love for the thirst of this devils curse
Which provoked your mind, to inherit the worst
And for this, thou shall be reversed and dug beneath
'his owned', but never his own earth!
For your possessions are but,
Hilarious! A joke!
Money gave you an illusion of power
When, inside you were still broke

It is a sense of pride and increased ego
Money was invented to divide and deprive the ditzy people
The hunger for a piece of paper
Never helped win over peace,
Instead it decreased the chances,
And even corrupted the chief of police,
The good father, The house wife,
The children who stole from their own siblings
For a little ounce, like

Damn, don't you get it
Money is a false remedy
The two faced, printed
To dissolve our own energy
To withdraw from within, our flaws
And deceive our own identities
Money is our best friend
But, money's our worst enemy!

The P.R.I.C.E. We Pay

The P.R.I.C.E. We Pay
"Prejudice, Racism, Injustice, Corruption, Execration"

By: Sullee J

They’re trained to kill, demonstrate and enslave by will. Not all are bad, but how long will their authority remain their shield? It's not just police brutality; it's a form of crafty mentality. The reality is, that racism was born to initiate fatalities. Grave the ones who see, but okay the blind cavalries. This is fallacy. The maintenance of repeated hatred, the patience to have patience with mistreated cases. How are we okay with defeating races? Demeaning places with heathens, this is that evil matrix. This is cruelty, they can't fool me! They act like they run it, but never move their own two feet. I’m talking degradation, the degeneration of this generation through generating innovations, which caused the execration.

See, I love my country, but sometimes I hate the way they do things. Yea, they gave us freedom, but freedom isn’t always what you think. Just a couple hundred years ago, they labeled you, separated you, and hated you, if you were colored or polished. Their mucus full of arrogance, not ever was their intention behind the word, 'never ignorant getting goals accomplished.' It's a game, a system, and the schemes of mainstream religion. God is real, what they made you believe was a make belief decision. It is their plan to segregate us, and defy the oneness of who made us. Decline the chances of unity, and apply the hiatus.  How do they promote the actions of what they provoked, and then lie to the people by using Islam as a scapegoat? Islamaphobia? They had to construct a word to hate a religion of peace? They used a terrorist group designed by the system, and generalized their behavior across the Middle East.

This is blasphemy! From the endorsement of catastrophe, to manipulating the minds of innocent citizens, and depriving them to a state of insanity. Why have we been shot down by those who protect and serve? Why have we been imprisoned with no evidence, besides the predicaments of inconsiderate germs? We the people who have been killed without full proof, the people who have had our houses raided with no warrant. We have had our families die in war for land we never owned. We have allowed the sodomy of women in back alleys, the rape of our future mothers, the battering of our daughters. Why have we been victimized? If only you could explain this injustice. If only you could see through the victims eyes, and understand the tears from this corruption.

Racism never died, the truth did. They just learned to be slick with it, and I'm here to prove this. Things have just become more organized, enough to divert your attention. While we sit back and watch TV, they’re out there coordinating another convention. They hate when I talk like this, and display the proof. They hate it that some of us got the knowledge, to see past there fabricated views. Who's to judge, based on the color of your skin? We can't even get a proper job, so were stuck struggling, hustling more sin. See, societies run by pyramid schemes and so it seems, if you sell your soul, than my brother, you’re in! I can't comprehend to why we still face the tragedies of racial prejudice. I cannot fathom what makes a person hate another because of their appearance. I can't understand why we have stooped so low, to where we let their control brainwash us into bringing each other down. This is programmed injustice. The rise of an old plan advanced and reconstructed.

We must stand together, and raise awareness, instead of letting them put fear in us and keep us silent. We must not let them keep getting away with these injustices. We have seen how much corruption exists. From teens like George Junius Stinney Jr. getting executed, to the Middle East being invaded, to the Gaza strip being raided. From police brutality by the racist, to the jury placing false evidence on innocent victims, and letting the murders get away with. To false claims and biases against religion, trying to spread hate through propaganda, and claim innocence, after they played out their mission. What are we dealing with here? Hypocrite legislators who can't practice what they preach? What is justice? Is it just us? Because from what I see, their action's aren't as good as what they speak!

'CONFORMITY'

CONFORMITY: 'Remain you, and they will hate you. Do what they do, and they will praise you.'  By SULLEE J

Oh, selfless and hopeless society, who chooses to be someone there not to gain the acceptance of others. Oh, people of this world, have you truly awakened from your sleep, and decimated the wicked ways of the weak. The signs are content, consistent and reiterated, but unfortunately, so is your blindness. Why do you choose to fulfill the desires of those, who do not understand their own desires. Haven't you learned yet, the world is a replica of your actions. Life will mimic your intentions in the people around you, for you to stay well aware of yourself. Do you not understand yourself? How come you try and learn the procedure of what's in front of you, rather than what's inside? Surely, God sees through your fabrication. You were placed in this world, not to be an example of others, but to set an example for the others.

Have you ever asked yourself, what you thought was 'real'? What you thought was 'cool'? What you felt was 'right'? Have you ever looked in the mirror and saw a different person looking back? Is the definition of cool, getting drunk, having sex, smoking weed, partying every weekend because your company says so? When is the last time you did something because you wanted to, and not because it would help you fit in? Why have we become so indulged into the fact that we have to look, act, and talk like everybody else in order for them to like us back? If they don't like you how you really are, then is it a self-esteem issue? Why be fake and still associate yourself with people that don't matter to? That does not only make you blind, but a hypocrite. This leads to the reason why our society has so many two-faces, or hidden identities.  Most of us are afraid to show who we really are and we get lost in two different life styles; one outside and one behind doors that no one ever knew. No wonder it has become hard to trust anyone out there. I'd rather have a foe who says that they hate me, than call someone a friend whose purpose is to put me down secretly.

Have you realized that being apart of the majority doesn't make you strong anymore? We are living in an organized system which has deliberately drained the minds of individuals and made them believe everything they see. How can people claim to be original when almost everything about them is fictional. Why are most of the leaders we admire from the distant past? Is it because we don't have many today? If we do, most of them turn out to be ill natured. They have conquered and divided. They have manipulated us into believing that we are crazy if we don't follow there rules but normal if we submit. We have become victims of modern slavery. Ignorance is the new crack and a lot of people are on it. Only if people knew the true power of the muscle behind their own voice. Instead of jumping on every band wagon of the latest hollywood icon, we need to learn to think for ourselves. The society has degraded itself by making its own people less aware and fearful of becoming aware. There are so many different conspiracies and truths, people just stopped caring about trying to find out what's real anymore. We are still trying to find out the truth behind 9/11, which happened over a decade ago. Clarity is needed in order to eliminate the mass hatred which it has created against a whole race & religion. Sadly, most people will believe whatever the boss aka TV says, which is still the reason, that today a lot of my people are discriminated against today.

I find it depressing when I see many people who have been deprived of living how they want because society won't accept it. To gain acceptance they slowly forget who they are, making it a forced habit to be someone they're not. We are being lured into a lifestyle which we have no control over. Is conformity even an option anymore? Even though it is still your choice to be unique, most people can't handle the pressure of having to fight against the crowd. If you don't conform, it takes time to get your point across and most would argue that they don't have time or want to live an "easy" life. Explain to me how things are easier, when you stop caring? It's obscene how people are a part of the same crowd they claim they hate. It's like living everyday as a contradiction. You hate how things are now but you're the reason they are that way. If you are afraid of being yourself then what's the point of being? Live your life how you want to, not because it's how they want you to. Make your own decisions and choices. Don't fall under the pressure of having to change yourself for anyone. It's not your problem if they can't accept you for being true to yourself.

I will ask you one last thing before I end this article: "What is your definition of a real person?"

I believe that a real person is someone who can take themselves out of any situation, adjust to any situation and can refrain from being negative in the worst situation. A real person is someone who doesn't conform, instead he continues to be his self in the crowd. A real person is one who wins the challenge against himself, a challenge against peer pressure, one who does not fall for temptation. A real person is one who says he did, after he does. A real person doesn't pay attention to the ignorance, instead he gives attention to those willing to listen and understand. A real person never loses, he keeps trying. A real person understands that attitude and reaction can make all the difference. A real person understands patience does not mean waiting around, it means to take initiative first. A real person is one who believes in himself regardless of anyone who puts him down. A real person is one who knows better, by being the bigger person. A real person takes care of themselves, as well as others when he is capable of it. A real person substitutes anger with prayer. A real person will not judge you for your appearance. A real person understands the difference between intention and motive. A real person is someone who shines daily because of his faith. A real person is anybody who isn't afraid to be themselves at any given time.

"Acceptance & Equality" By Sullee J

"Acceptance & Equality" By Sullee J

Are we segregated in our own religion? Are we divided over who should have taken over the spread of Islam after the last Prophet? Do we lack the common sense to realize that the purpose of Islam and a true believer is to worship the one true God? Nonetheless, we have allowed ourselves to fight for thousands of years over the succession of our leaders. We seem to forget that no one owns the throne. We continue to fight over internal theology, land, money, and property. In these times, our religion demands unity and clarity of vision and yet, there still exists much inequality and confusion. Two of the biggest sects in Islam that have been in conflict are Sunni & Shi'ite. Let me ask you three questions: Do you pray to Allah? Do you read the Quran? Do you answer to the Adhaan? If both sides agree on these questions then no further justification is necessary. To be a Muslim means to be unified and not divided.

Do not worship prophets, imams, and other greats who were sent to portray the ideal example of a true Muslim. The prophets were sent to prove the existence of God (Al-Lah) and chosen to exemplify the highest qualities a human being can possess. They even forbade their own followers from worshipping or idolizing them for they were only men. They reminded us not to focus on their miracles. Miracles would not exist without the power of the Creator. We pray to the one and only, most merciful, most greatest: God. The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) who was sent to this world as the final Prophet of God, willed that his remaining materials and clothing be burned after his death. He did so to prevent the ignorance of humanity from idolizing or worshipping those meaningless and temporal material things. We are only meant to prostrate to God. No one else is worthy of worship since we all are human and we all are equal.

Islam is unity! Islam is peace. Islam is a religion which teaches us to pray for our enemies and those who wrong us for they are in need of the fear and knowledge of God. Islam teaches us to be pious, generous, humble, loving, and to never disrespect other religions, regardless of our differences. Islam teaches us humility, self-control, and understanding the strength of patience. In Islam, just like other religions, there are good and there are bad. I say this in caps, IT IS THE INDIVIDUAL who chooses to do wrong, or chooses to do right. We are creatures of free will that is given by God according to His wisdom and plan. The mass media quickly and unjustly categorizes all of Islam as hateful due to the actions of a small minority. The media colors the word "Muslim" in such a negative light that it evokes fear and hatred in the masses. There are so many Muslims out there who live in fear of hate crimes and harsh discrimination against themselves and their families. It is truly tragic that these innocent Muslims live as prisoners in their own neighborhoods as if something was wrong with them.

In addition, there are Muslims who are afraid to BE Muslim in public. They feel compelled to act in a certain manner and dress a certain way just to fit into their environment. In the post-Jim Crow era, African Americans had to make their best efforts to integrate into a desegregated environment but were still viewed as inferior. The situation of some Muslims living in the West is very similar in the post 9/11 era. I sincerely feel pity for the people who are quick to believe everything they hear and see. There are so many different issues that confront us during life in this world that it can easily fill numerous books and hours of conversation. I want to make two things very clear before I end this statement. The first: Islam is one! We do not need to divide and conquer within our own religion when the end result is the same and the faith we attain along the way is the same. The second point: My brothers and sisters, do not be afraid to be you! You do not and should not have to conform or wear a "uniform" to fit in.

I write this to all Muslims that were raised being told that they fall within a certain sect. I urge them to wake up and put these differences aside. I also write this for people who are unaware of the real definition of Islam. Last but not least, I write this for the general public to realize the qualities we should learn to cultivate within ourselves to become more pure human beings. Qualities such as humility, generosity, kindness, gratitude, and patience. At the same time, we must to learn to turn away from the evils of jealousy, pride, egotism, envy, and hatred.

"Believe" by Sullee J

(This is a poem which sums the condition of our world right now)

This generation reeks, for, we encompass
only a handful of strong, but a mass of weak,
wide awake at sunrise, but still our conscious sleeps
theories of separation, and so it seems, we solidify
only in the notion of greed,
quit being a victim of organized slavery,
the public broadcast is just another word for mind control
a wide patrol, teaching you to hate me,
through biased pledges, but only will, time unfold
that all of this hate just recreates itself,
look at what you made we?
Don't trust the judge, Don't trust the jury,
Don't adjust to lust, or hold a grudge in fury
My people, are you grateful? are you faithful?
utmost to God, then yourself? and if so,
why to your fellow man, still you stay dull?
folks don't know what to believe, because publicly,
God is injust, and to hold within, just cancer
but surely, those who trust to see, the just of He,
who will stand up in this world, just to scream
these are acts of the devil, and so must you see
only God is the answer, and in US is He
we must BELIEVE

ONENESS (Acceptance & Equality Pt. II)

Oneness (Acceptance & Equality Pt. II)

By: Sullee J

Through One, we were created. To one, we shall return. For indeed, the truth lies in one congregation, which unfortunately, we have adjourned. I believe in no division. I believe in no sect. For we are all unified during submission and after all, he is only one! Correct?
I witness the fall of civilization as well as the birth of destruction. The rise of an evil through coercive seductions. The force feeding of crowds and the mass manipulation. The theories of the proud, leading us into disaster's stimulation. Oh what have we here, a population trafficking through avid configuration. Atheism laughs at the believer speech, so sad the situation, of the weak. Conforming for rapid matriculation, they seek, In order to fit in to society's crafted simulation, defeat. I see the great deception, the new age, following the craze, obstructing through loose plague. Look at how we question God, but swallow the news page. Discredit our own blood, just to model the new ways.
See, many of us have fallen astray. Ambiguous, we have been made, through false conjectures and the premeditated syllables of the trained. For indeed, it is the skilled, who bestow thrills and commit sins to kill. Oh, the stories they tell and try to glorify the emporiums of hell. Temptations of glass, see through trash. Oh, what have we gained from disbelieving the one who maintains? The one who made us in fact, it's a fact, we have mocked the greatest and trapped ourselves in a maze so amazing, the past. Even though we forget it, it still follows until the day and at last into the grave we have passed. How can we forget the Creator? When surely, He's the only savior, we have!
I look at the sun, I stare at the moon, I smile at the stars, and fall in love everyday I consume. I look at the ocean, and I wonder it's mystery. I float to outer space, trying to escape this earth's misery. I live in a world full of blasphemy. The wicked hold such a status full of ego, jealousy, yet wonder why they remain in a state of agony. I look at the people from a distance, painted smiles and dried tears. People pretending to hold relations of bounty, but how? When they've forgotten who gave them these fine years!  I'm afraid for the imbeciles and the twisted. The ones who batter the innocence off a child's back and justify the decision. Is this what we call a court of law? Or is this a sort of flaw? To convict the poor, just to fill the space behind bars, and let the rich flee, as long as they hand over a portion of there quota? God! this is tyranny!

Take a look at our religion. From the beginning, we have been blessed with the truth. Until the fine philosophy was risen and struck the minds of a few. Which now corrupts the generations vision, the generators of legislators sedating the minds of civilians. Ignorance now separating us, through theories of spineless chameleons. Multiple villainous arrangements, surely, this is the time of transgressors. Hypocrisy attained, and remains in the minds of the inventors.  So I ask now, who are we to stand up so high, demanding the respect? Acting like we don't bleed, and some how believe it's us who hold the power to judge and keep humanity in check. How can we proceed and allow segregation when the truth was handed to you? Do you still you neglect the revelations? 'Kun Faya Kun', It was commanded to you!

Islam is not the glitch. What the media displays is a form of fictional propaganda and you blindly conform to their pitch. Muslims are not the enemies. Disbelievers are the enemies. The ones who gang up and point fingers through postulated schemes. That does not mean that non-Muslims are the opponents.  It simply states that those who discredit us due to the actions of deviants and then generalize with the aim to falsify our existence. They must seek atonement!

I am a Muslim, and it is necessary to believe our 'Ummah' is one. I am no different than you. Surely the difference between us is none. We cannot blame the ones who don't listen, the mindless who have been raised to believe and trained through superstition. Taught by the elder generation whose generation before never learned or cared. Instead they just followed there present exhibition. Indeed, the media has defined us, designed us and testified against us to make the public despise us.

With this being said, we must stand up, otherwise we will continuously get stood upon. We must not fear the system, especially when our true purpose is to do good upon. Islam teaches purity, piety and righteousness. The straight path, 'Sirat Al Mustaqeem', the desire of enlightenment. Others look inside our religion and see that some of us hate each other! "I'm Sunni, he's Shia"? NO! Look at what we made each other! There is only one type of Muslim and one God above. Please don't judge me because of my religion, true Islam is peace, unity… and love.

Evidence from the Quran:

"And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful." [2:163]

[6:159] Those who divide themselves into sects do not belong with you. Their judgment rests with GOD, then He will inform them of everything they had done.

[21:92] Your congregation is but one congregation, and I alone am your Lord; you shall worship Me alone.

[21:93] However, they divided themselves into disputing religions. All of them will come back to us (for judgment).

Surah 3, Verse 103: And hold fast, all together by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you;

Surah 6, Verse 159: "Surely they who divided their religion into parts and became sects, you have no concern with them; their affair is only with Allah, then He will inform them of what they did."

Sullee J - Oneness (Acceptance & Equality Pt. II) 'Spoken Word'
