Sullee J releases the new video “Voice of the People” in association
with Underscore films in aid of St.Christopher’s
Children Home in St.Kitt’s. Here is what Sullee J had to say :
”This is the
definition of what I do. This is the epitome of who I am. This is Sullee J, and
what Justice means. “Be The Voice”
speaks on the various issues of society today, and was made to help enlighten
the ears of the listener. The sad reality is that many people, especially
children today, are without healthy living conditions. These are tough issues
that society seems to ignore. At times, we might not feel like we have much,
but we have enough to get by. Everybody needs help, especially the helpless! The
idea behind Saint Christopher Children’s Home is to assist in the provision of
a building to house neglected children. These children are mainly abuse
victims, neglected or abandoned children, orphans, or those placed there by
court order. I told you I will better this world, whether you believe it or
not. I will continue to pursue my dreams and work hard toward generating an
interesting in doing good whether you agree or not. I believe in living to make
others smile”

Don't let the
magazines dress you, girls on television impress you, cynical rules address
you, or sexist pricks disrespect you. Beautiful is how you were created, not
what they tell you. Keen and intellect is what you are, not how they reflect
you. Don't let the press, suppress you. Don't let the media's judgment
represent you. Don't let the pressure affect you. Don't let their idea of
beauty get you! It will only upset you, enough to regret you. Don't hate you
because you are not what they believe should make you. Dry your tears! Because
no matter how hard you try, they will remain ungrateful.
Do you love
yourself? Or do you love the image they have created to display you? Do you
think exposing more skin is a form of acceptance? Is that what you think it gains
you? Little girls are babysat by TV, who grow to look up to teen sensations
that are represented in such a demeaning manner. For example, an episode which
shows a young girl lying to her parents to sneak out with her boyfriend. A girl
who wears make up to impress the older girls in school supposedly determines
her level of hotness. What does it mean to be hot? Is it dressing like a hoe
aka wearing less clothes and more make up? Does it mean, dating the most
popular boy in school? Does another person's acceptance make you more
beautiful? Is that what we are being fed?
Surely, beauty is
inside you. Self-acceptance is more important than worrying about whom other
than you, accepts self! Must I remind you? Do not fall in the categories of
falsehood, or let it define you. Materials are an illusion; don't assume they
will divine you. Who's to say, selling yourself for less will gain you respect?
What does 'class' mean to a society who promotes more 'checks', for more 'sex'?
Your body is a temple, not a share to invest. You don't need anybody to tell
you you’re worth but yourself! Your dignity is your wealth, not the paper
itself.
Look here baby,
yes a person like me exists, and I respect you for who you are, all natural, no
tricks. You don't need to dress less or belittle your image, or believe the
propaganda description is what you must fit with. No need to mimic them
Hollywood gimmicks. Selling yourself for less, never made you any more vivid.
Don't expect respect from other's if you can't respect yourself. Putting half a
naked picture of yourself to get more likes on Facebook is not the right way to
raise your self-esteem! Be real! Be confident. Most of all, keep your dignity.
If a person can't accept you for being real, who care's how they feel. Don't fall
into the trap of illusion, because that leads to misery and the hearts
pollution. The universe becomes a mirror of your existence; it's all up to you.
If you be fake, then in return you get fake. If you be real, you get real. I believe that, a real woman
stands above all the "fuckery" and "fakery". Pardon my
language, but I’d rather love you uncovered, then have you covered
ostentatiously.

In Sullee J's own words "I wrote this to keep us awake, and always remember where we came from. I feel like a lot of us forget or get spoiled in the hype. At one point, we fought and died over school and earning the privilege to read a book. Today we shoot each other and die over material things like who has the newest Jordan's? God puts us through things, but he also pulls us through them. He does this so, we can humble ourselves and appreciate what we have, not forget what we were granted!"
Should there be sent down a vicegerent to make route for those who have disbelieved? For those who have forgotten how to see? Careless! Yet in their hearts they too wish to be! Will they deny the divine revelation, even though the truth doth set free? Has it not been made clear enough? And do they be so foolish, that they wish to believe; God is clueless to his own creation? Do they believe he has not the ability no more to stay alert? Do they not see? It was God who made them first, not them who made God! Do they know what is yet to come? Do they disbelieve in the One? Do they continue to prove something that does not exist in no more but self-illusion? Delusional minds, self-fulfilling prophecies will get you only so far! Where will you take your valueless inventions when you die? Foolish! Do not make Him angry! Thou does not know what is set in stone! Does thou know the meaning of life? It is not to get ahead of yourself! Stay alert! Moderation is everything, if only ye knew how to balance. But to balance is to believe, and to believe is to know and to know is to lack doubt! Does man think God knows not, that what he does? Does man be so ignorant he forgets where he comes from? Does he believe that he can create greater than thee Creator? If so, then make visible of your proof. Surely, you will be at loss.
Even thou organs are committed to He, and act through He, and sustain through He, yet still you disbelieve. Only if they knew, even the heartbeats, when it is allowed to beat. The mind thinks, when it is allowed to think. The eyes see, when they are allowed to see. Hence when man sleeps, they are blind and incapable of thought. God has made man with obedient features. It is not that man doth not believe in God, but when he refuses, he disbelieves in himself. Nature is obedient to its creator. Does the sun not rise to remind you? Does the moon not return to you at night? You are only deceiving yourself when allowing your mind to be fed, by the leaders of hell. They reiterate that religion distracts the man from opening his mind. They reiterate that religion is what divides mankind. No! True religion does not divide its inhabitants. It guides to unite and purify their hearts. It does not teach hatred, nor jealousy. Nor does it tell us to allow our differences to create enemies. They say it's either science or religion. Do they not know religion is nothing without the science behind it? Who is the greatest inventor after all? Show your proofs if you must! Surely, you will be at loss.
Surely, it is the blind who believe they have figured out God's existence, before they've figured their own. Surely, it is the blind who have believed to disbelieve due to false administrations and history. Many modern day leaders choose to proliferate the image of Al-Shaytaan and proceed to secrete venom from within their vocal chords. How dare they deny the substance, which was granted as a form of guidance. Lo! There is only one truth, what lie have ye been fooled into believing? Have you forgotten whom ye will return to? What is it that has set you astray from the right path? Feeble minds! So quick to believe into the pitch of popularity, rather than the truth. Does thou not see the signs? What is faith in the face of your money? Do you dare think that a piece of paper weighs heavier than your deeds? Surely, you were just a piece of dirt before the conversion into a seed. Surely, you have forgotten the straight path. Surely you have undermined the existence of the ever lasting, and made yourself the Al-Mighty on this earth. Surely you have fallen in the footsteps of evil by disbelieving in the Supreme. Surely, you have been deceived. Surely, you will be at loss.
Remember, God is most merciful. God's wrath is entirely personal. We are no one to judge! We must work as a unit to initiate the awakening of this enslaved generation. We are no genius! We are in no position to force belief! I am only a sign, just like you! I have instilled in me, the desire to open up your hearts and create room for acceptance. I have come to remind you to proceed with good intentions! I have come to eradicate the fiction spread through false predictions. I have come to rule out the false accusations amongst religion through premeditated decisions. I am no one compared to our Creator! I have come to disable the mouths, which have continuously spread lies and enabled the route. The route of evil, which has increased and found comfort in the unstable. I have come to make sure the devil's whisper remains not allowed. I have come to unite and desegregate the crowds. I have come to spread truth and help you wake up. I have come as a proof! Surely, just another sign before the day of; these are just a few words from above.

Who has divided us? Entrenched thoughts inside us and dispersed fabricated reports to blind us? Who are these monsters? Captivated by the hunger of wickedness, strategizing since the beginning of time. A plan to corrupt humanity through their secret covenants, how insidious their minds. Who are the fathers of this evil? Who finds joy in the division and conquer of people? Who so practices with such decadence and hypocrisy? Are ye entertained of committing such heinous acts? Do you not think that He knows of all, which ye do? Have you become so arrogant and forgetful because of your earthly possessions that you feel as if you are not to return to your creator? Are you not the same person’s whom will deny of such actions when facing the truth on the day of recompense? Have you fell in disbelief? Into the magic of Iblis, who is aware of the truth himself, but finds excitement in turning you astray from it? Who is to blame, the ones who divide or the ones who fall into the trap and allow the division?
What has divided us, in such a way that we have been killing each other for centuries and forgot what the reason of existence even means? Does the word humanity, not have the word unity in it? If you believe it is religion, which segregates you from loving another person, then you are a part of the wrong religion. Religion teaches acceptance. “La Kum Dina Kum Waliya Deen” – To Each Their Own. It isn’t faith or the belief in a “God”, which divides us. Then what could it be? Is it money? Who owns the most property? Is it control? Is it the false media? Which tends to constantly divert our attention from the real by promoting the same things until we are slowly brainwashed into believing their version of the truth? Is it power? Can the role of playing “God” be so seductive to one’s mind that, the adrenaline rush from it allows them to feel as if they can do anything and not be accounted for their actions? Are you so caught up in your heedless ways?
It feels like humanity has been infected with some sort of epidemic, which has traveled and invaded weak souls. Struck the feeble minds and succeeded to reach hold. What have we done? Allowing ourselves to divide and separate into crowds? Only if we were open minded enough to see that unity; is the only way out. Who made you believe that it is a person’s socio-economic status, which should influence your decision on whether or not to associate with them? Who taught you to judge a book by its cover? Who taught you to assume a crook by his color? Who instilled in your hardheaded, slender minds to believe the gossip from there blistered tongues? Aren’t you aware of the fact that evil loves to entrap those who trap themselves mentally? Surely, the trapped are those who follow and swallow the captions of hypocrite captains, no sense in these. Where does it get you at the end of the day to hate or dislike another person because of what they look like? Or how much money they have or don’t have? What there religion is? Who they are related to?
Ask yourself! Are you only unified when in need? Are you otherwise disguised, and inside is greed? Are your intentions pure when congregated? The Quran states, “Their enmity among themselves is very great. You would think they were united, but their hearts are divided, that is because they are a people who understand not.” You can hide from the world, but not thyself. It frightens me because, if we can dissect ourselves from our own blood in today’s time over petty things, I worry about the pedagogy, which will guide the minds of our future generations. We need to open our eyes and come together as a unit, otherwise we will slowly evaporate as time continues, and nothing will change for the better. We need to learn to better ourselves, by helping better others. People tend to find humor in the filthiest things now days, and slowly what was once looked down at, is now becoming entertainment. How can we ever find a solution to a problem we keep ourselves from seeing? Look at the protests across the nation for #OccupyWallStreet. With the power of unity’s voice, I truly believe they will reach their goal and by the grace of God, may its outcome be for the best.
